Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Ordering & Pricing

Box size, board grade and flute, the number of print colours and print coverage, finishes (lamination, foil, embossing), extras such as windows, handles or inserts, quantity, and delivery location. If you have a target budget, tell us. A simpler specification can often get you close to it.
Custom shapes need a cutting die. If a die charge applies to your job, it appears as its own line in your quotation so there are no surprises. Standard slotted cartons (RSC) generally do not need a custom die.
Yes. Once a size and specification is set, we keep the die and specification on file so that repeat runs match the previous one.
Payment terms are stated in your quotation before you confirm the order, and a tax invoice is issued for every order. Terms can differ for first orders and repeat customers, so ask us if you need something specific.
Use the Request a Quote form or message us on WhatsApp. The more you tell us, the faster and more accurate the price. Please include: the product type, internal box dimensions (L × W × H), quantity, the material and finish if you know them (or what the box needs to do), your artwork or a reference, and your delivery location and deadline. We reply within 24 hours.

Samples & Artwork

Yes. Every custom order goes through a sample or proof stage, and you approve it before full production starts. If you want a physical prototype, tell us when you request the quote and we will confirm its cost and timing.
No. If you only have a logo, we can advise on layout. If you do not know the box size, send the product dimensions and we will propose a dieline for your approval.
Vector PDF, AI or EPS with fonts converted to outlines, in CMYK, with Pantone references for any spot colours. Images should be 300 dpi at final size, with a 3 mm bleed. If you are unsure, send what you have and we will tell you whether it is print-ready.
A flat template showing every cut and fold line of a box. Artwork must sit on the dieline so print lines up with the folds. Once you confirm your dimensions, we provide the dieline for your size.
Not exactly. Screens mix light (RGB) while print uses ink (CMYK), so bright greens, oranges and neon tones usually print duller than they look on screen. For critical brand colours, specify a Pantone reference and review a proof before the full run.
Changes after approval can delay delivery and may add cost, so check the proof carefully: spelling, barcodes, phone numbers and dimensions. The production clock starts from artwork approval.

Materials & Finishes

It depends on weight, how the box is shipped and how it needs to look. If you are unsure, tell us what goes inside, how heavy it is and how it ships, and we will recommend a grade. See our Materials & Board Grade guide for an explanation of each option.
The flute is the wavy layer inside corrugated board. E-flute is thin with a smooth surface for print, suited to mailers and retail boxes. B-flute balances crush resistance with a good print surface. C-flute is the all-rounder for shipping cartons. Taller flutes cushion and stack better, while thinner flutes print better.
Yes. Triple-wall board (about 10 mm or thicker) is available for very heavy or industrial loads. Tell us the weight per carton and stacking height and we will advise whether double-wall or triple-wall is needed.
Yes. We supply wax and moisture-resistant coated cartons for cold rooms, refrigerated transport and humid conditions, commonly used for fruit and vegetable exports. Tell us the storage temperature and journey length so we can specify the right coating and board grade.
A film with a velvety, suede-like feel that makes a box feel more premium in the hand. It is popular for cosmetics and gift boxes. Like other laminations, it generally cannot be recycled through standard paper streams.
Plain and aqueous-coated paper cartons are recyclable through normal paper streams. Wax-coated and laminated cartons generally are not. If recyclability matters to your brand, tell us and we will steer the specification, which usually means choosing coating over lamination.
We supply food-grade board and inks for food-contact packaging. Tell us whether contact is direct or indirect and we will specify accordingly.

Production & Delivery

7–14 working days after artwork approval. The clock starts when you approve the final artwork, not when you place the order, so the faster you approve the proof, the sooner your boxes arrive. Delivery time is on top of this and depends on your location.
Tell us your deadline when you request the quote. Whether a faster turnaround is possible depends on the board, the finish and the current schedule, and we will tell you honestly before you commit.
Production takes 7–14 working days after artwork approval, but festive periods are busy. Order at least a month ahead to be safe.

Contact us straight away with photos of the cartons and the delivery label, and we will look into it with you promptly. Checking the delivery on arrival makes this much faster to resolve.
